About Joe’s Pizza
Joe’s Pizza is a pizza restaurant in New York, New York. It is listed at 124 Fulton St, New York, NY 10038, which places it among the local businesses of New York that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pizza takeout, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–3 am. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Joe’s Pizza at (212) 267-0860; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is joespizzanyc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 7,308 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in New York and suggests consistent service.
New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Delicious pizza! If you love NY style thin crust pizza, try Joe’s! The crust is crispy and delicious. We tried a supreme an a caprese. Both were so good! Super crowded, but the line moved quickly.

Even though I was already full, I couldn’t skip Joe’s Pizza, one of the city’s famous spots. I decided to order just one slice to try. The staff recommended the classic cheese flavor, so I went with that. The slice was quite nice actually, with thin crust, simple, and satisfying. It’s the kind of classic pizza that never goes wrong. On the table, they had cheese, chili flakes, and garlic powder for extra flavor, which making thoughtful for customer to add on based on preference. The store was crowded, but the turnover was fast, making it a good place for a quick bite. Overall, a solid experience and I’m giving 4.2/5.

Joe’s Pizza on Fulton Street is exactly what New York pizza should be. Thin, crispy crust, perfectly balanced sauce, and that classic mozzarella stretch that makes every bite satisfying. I stopped in for a quick slice and ended up wishing I had ordered more. The pizza was served fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The crust had just the right amount of crunch while still being soft and foldable -the true New York way. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you can tell why Joe’s has earned such a strong reputation over the years. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere had that authentic no-frills NYC pizza vibe that both locals and visitors appreciate. If you’re anywhere near the Financial District and craving real New York pizza, Joe’s Pizza is absolutely worth the stop. One of the best slices in Manhattan, hands down. Highly recommended!

Very solid pizza. Got the Caprese and Supreme pizza slices, $6.5 a slice, very large. Thin slice. Very crispy. Fresh ingredients. Solid 8.5/10. Can see why many consider it as the best pizza in New York. I think I’ve had better though. But factoring in the value, it’s very good. It’s very busy but the line moves fast so “one and done justified.”

Stopped by Joe’s Pizza for a classic cheese slice and dined in—definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was great, with that iconic, old-school vibe that makes the experience feel authentic. The pizza itself was exactly what you want from a New York slice: super thin, perfectly crispy crust, and simple but delicious. Every bite was light, crunchy, and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a true, no-frills pizza spot that delivers on quality, Joe’s is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
